Alfred Herrhausen

At the time of his assassination in 1989, Herrhausen was a leading figure in West German business and political circles. Police and prosecutors thought that a small far-left militant group called the Red Army Faction was behind the hit. But the case against the almost moribund group was always tenuous, and the murder remains unsolved.
